The game follows a strict level-by-level progression where currency is earned by defeating enemies and collecting treasures, used to buy continues and power-ups.

The primary modification is the injection of a high integer value into the game's currency variable. This value does not decrease when spending on continues, character revives, or item purchases in the shop. The mod operates by intercepting the function calls that deduct currency, preventing the subtraction.

To access the mod features, simply launch SNOW BROS. classic Mod and enter the in-game shop. The currency display will show an abnormally high number, such as 999,999. Purchasing any item, like an extra life or a continue, will not reduce this amount. No mod menu or toggle is required; the modification is active upon game start.

The APK requires Android 4.1 or higher and approximately 55 MB of free storage for the initial OBB data download. Root access is not required. The mod does not alter the game's core APK signature in a way that triggers standard integrity checks.

Installation follows the standard sideload process for modified APKs with OBB data. First, download the APK and OBB files. Second, install the APK file but do not open it. Third, place the OBB folder in the correct directory (Android/obb/com.mobirix.jp.snowbrothers/). Finally, launch SNOW BROS. classic Mod.

Known edge cases exist. The leaderboard functionality is server-connected and may fail to submit scores if the mod is detected, though this does not affect local play. Clearing the app's data or cache will reset all progress, including unlocked characters, but the infinite money will persist upon restart as it's coded into the modded APK. On some Android 12+ devices, a warning about the app being built for an older version of Android may appear; this does not impact functionality.
