Shattered Pixel Dungeon Mod is a fork and redesign of the original Pixel Dungeon, a turn-based roguelike RPG. It features four distinct hero classes, procedurally generated dungeon floors, permadeath, and a deep item identification and upgrade system. The game is designed for players who enjoy strategic resource management and challenging, unpredictable runs. This mod alters the in-game economy.
What This Mod Unlocks
- Gold is set to an infinite amount upon starting a new game or loading a save.
- The gold counter remains at 999,999 and does not decrease when purchasing items from shops.
- All shop inventory, including rare weapons, armor, scrolls, and potions, can be acquired without financial constraint.
- No other currencies or resources (e.g., health potions, upgrade scrolls, food) are modified by this mod.
The primary mod function is passive and requires no activation menu. Upon launching Shattered Pixel Dungeon Mod and beginning a run, your character's gold will be set to the maximum value. This persists through saves and loads.
The APK requires Android 5.0 or higher. Installation requires approximately 40 MB of free storage. Root access is not required.
Installation Steps
- Download the modded APK file.
- Enable "Install from Unknown Sources" in your Android device settings.
- Open the downloaded file using a file manager app and confirm the installation.

Known Edge Cases
- The mod only affects gold. Death remains permanent, and other survival mechanics (hunger, enemy damage) are unchanged.
- If you clear the app's data or uninstall, all save progress, including modded gold, will be lost.
- There is no risk of online detection or ban, as Shattered Pixel Dungeon Mod is a purely offline, single-player experience.
- On some devices with heavily customized Android skins, you may need to grant the "Install unknown apps" permission specifically to your browser or file manager.
