Pokémon Fire Red Mod is a Game Boy Advance ROM emulation packaged for Android devices. It is a direct port of the 2004 role-playing game, allowing players to experience the classic Kanto region adventure without original hardware. This version is intended for users familiar with the Pokémon series and retro emulation, providing a complete, unmodified gameplay loop of capturing, training, and battling.
What This Mod Unlocks
- Unlimited Money (PokeDollars). The currency counter does not decrease from purchases.
- All Key Items are available in the Bag from the start of the game.
- All TMs and HMs are unlocked and obtainable without progression.
- Infinite Master Balls and Ultra Balls in the inventory.
- All evolution stones and held items are available in unlimited quantities.
- Advertisements within the emulator wrapper are disabled.
The mod features are activated upon starting a new game. The player's inventory in Pokémon Fire Red Mod will contain the unlocked items from the first visit to a PokéMart. Money is set to a maximum value and remains static.
This APK requires Android 6.0 or higher. It occupies approximately 25 MB of storage after installation. Root access is not required. The app requests standard storage permissions for saving game states and ROM data.
Installation requires enabling installation from unknown sources in Android settings. Download the APK file. Open the downloaded file to initiate the package installer. Confirm the installation. Launch Pokémon Fire Red Mod from the app drawer.
Known issues include potential save file corruption if the app is uninstalled without manual backup of the save states. The unlimited money feature is client-side only and does not affect trade or battle logic. Some anti-cheat measures in later game events may trigger scripted battles regardless of inventory. The mod does not bypass the need for specific badges to use HMs like Surf or Fly in the field.
