- All In-App Purchases are free. Tapping any premium item or bundle in the shop deducts zero currency.
- No advertisements. All ad-break prompts and video ad rewards are skipped, granting rewards instantly.
The primary mod feature is accessed via a floating Mod Menu icon that appears on the right edge of the screen shortly after the Oil Tycoon Mod main menu loads. Tapping this icon opens the control panel. The "Unlimited Money" toggle is enabled by default; disabling it reverts currency behavior to the official version.
This mod requires Android 7.0 or higher. Installation needs approximately 85 MB of free storage. Root access is not required.
Installation Steps
- Download the Oil Tycoon Mod mod APK file.
- Enable "Install from Unknown Sources" in Android settings if prompted.
- Open the downloaded file and proceed with the installation.
- Launch Oil Tycoon Mod and confirm the Mod Menu icon is visible on the main screen.
Known Edge Cases
- The mod functions entirely offline. No server-side detection is possible as the game has no multiplayer or cloud save authentication.
- Unlimited money is client-side only. If you clear the app data or uninstall, progression resets and you start with the modded initial amount again.
- On some devices with aggressive battery optimization, the Mod Menu overlay may be temporarily hidden; disabling optimization for Oil Tycoon Mod resolves this.
- Version 4.8.2 of the mod is confirmed for Android 7.0 through Android 13. Behavior on Android 14 is untested.
