The mod requires Android 9.0 or higher. It does not require root access. Installation will consume approximately 85 MB of storage for the APK, with additional space needed for documents and cached data.
Installation follows a standard sideload process. First, enable installation from unknown sources in Android settings. Second, download the mod APK file. Third, locate the file using a file manager and tap to install. Fourth, open Microsoft Word: Edit Documents Mod after installation completes.
Known edge cases exist. In online or collaborative modes that verify license status with Microsoft servers, some premium features may revert or trigger authentication prompts. Clearing the app's data resets local preferences but does not relock core modded features. On devices with heavily customized Android skins, occasional UI lag may occur when loading advanced formatting panels.
