What This Mod Unlocks
- Premium keyboard color themes are unlocked. All 21 themes listed in the official app's settings are available for selection without payment.
- All advertisements within the app are disabled. This includes banner ads and interstitial ads that may appear during keyboard setup or within the app's settings menu.
- The premium feature lock is removed. No in-app purchase prompts appear when accessing customization options.
The mod functions by patching the license verification routine. It bypasses the server check for premium status, granting local access to paid assets.
Activation Note
No activation is required. Upon launching the Desh Kannada Keyboard Mod app after installation, the premium features are immediately available. Navigate to Settings > Theme to select from all color options.
Android 5.0 or higher is required. The installation requires approximately 50 MB of free storage. Root access is not required.
Installation Steps
- Download the modified APK file.
- Enable installation from unknown sources in your device's security settings.
- Open the downloaded file using a file manager.
- Follow the on-screen installer prompts.

Known Edge Cases
Clearing the app's data through Android settings will reset the theme selection to default. The premium status persists, but the user must reselect their preferred theme. On some devices with aggressive battery optimization, the keyboard service may be suspended, requiring a manual restart. The mod is confirmed for version 17.2.0; future official updates may break compatibility until the mod is updated.
